Artist statement: The cycle WATER ROMANCE consists of pictures showing water in one form or another, gathered from my second book MONCHROME ROMANCE (below), if with a twist: Some of the images did not originally contain the water element, while one image does not appear in the book at all. For the eponymous real-life exhibition and its hard-copy catalogue, the images bore captions, linking them together in an absurd fairy tale of a girl who, bereft of her last shirt, decides to take a bath against her mother's express wish.
